2013 Montana Girls Player Development Camp

Calling all female Montana hockey players!  This is a formal invitation to the 2013 Montana Player Development Camps (MTPDC).  The camp is open to all Montana resident hockey players registered with USA Hockey.  There are no limitations for participation, we are looking to host an affordable weekend camp for the players in Montana and all appropriate age groups are encouraged to attend.

This years’ camp will feature a true development atmosphere with the on-ice portion of the camp placing an emphasis on skills and drills (skating, passing, shooting, etc…). The off-ice portion of the camp will feature seminars & information pertinent to off ice-training and athlete development.  MAHA will choose experienced, educated coaches to coach both on and off the ice. The cost of the camp is $130 (Group 1, which includes a camp jersey) or $75 (Group 2). Walk-up registrations, the day of the camp, WILL be accepted. (Note: if player is in Group 1, she might not be guaranteed a camp jersey.)

The on-ice personnel are experienced in conducting drills and scrimmages for the purpose of development and skill progression.  In addition, there will be off-ice instruction in strength and conditioning for the off-season and nutrition for the athlete.  Our evaluators are primarily hockey people from around the region that are not associated with local programs and have many years of hockey experience and are dedicated to the sport.

Registration forms for the MTPDCs can be found on MAHA website (www.mthockey.com) or by clicking here.  Also, each association’s representative will have been e-mailed fliers, registration forms, and additional information regarding the camp.
