Montana Player Development Camp
Calling all Montana hockey players! This is a formal invitation to the 2012 Montana Player Development Camps (MTPDC). The camp is open to all Montana resident hockey players, both boys and girls, registered with USA Hockey. There are no limitations for participation, we are looking to host an affordable weekend camp for the players in Montana and all appropriate age groups are encouraged to attend
This years’ camp will feature a true development atmosphere with the on-ice portion of the camp placing an emphasis on skills and drills (skating, passing, shooting, etc…). Individual growth and skill development will be our main focused as compared to years past. MAHA will choose experienced, educated coaches to coach both on and off the ice. The cost of the camp is $150 which includes a camp jersey, off-ice instruction and 6+ hours of on-ice instruction. If you register before March 1st, you will receive a $30 early bird discount making this one of the most affordable camps around. Walk-up registrations, the day of the camp, WILL be accepted.
The on-ice personnel are experienced in conducting drills and scrimmages for the purpose of development and skill progression. In addition, there will be some off-ice seminars and instruction in strength and conditioning for the off-season, nutrition for the athlete, and future opportunities in hockey. Our evaluators are primarily hockey people from around the region that are not associated with local programs and have many years of hockey experience and are dedicated to the sport. We will have all local junior teams in attendance to give the older age groups a chance to be seen and scouted.

The following age groups invited to participate at the MTPDC:
Girls: March 16th - 18th, 2012 in Helena, MT
95, 96, 97, 98, and 99 birth years

Boys: April 6th - 8th, 2012 in Helena, MT
95, 96, 97, 98 and 99 birth years
The 95, 96, 97, 98 Birth year players are eligible to advance to the Northern Plains Development Camp.
Following the conclusion of the camps, players with birth years of 95, 96, 97, and 98 may be selected to continue to the 2012 Northern Plains District Development Camp (NPDDC). More information regarding the NPDDC can be found below.
Northern Plains District Development Camp (NPDDC):
The 2012 NPDDC will be held at Ralph Engelstad Arena - Home of the North Dakota University Fighting Sioux - in Grand Forks, ND from May 9 – 13th. More information can be found on the Northern Plains District web page (www.npdistrict.com) or by clicking here. You must have attended and been selected from the MTPDC to be eligible to attend the NPDDC.
